My journey has taken a new path. For now homesteading, explorations of my natural world, and embracing a life that is based in local foods and rooted in the cycle of seasons have been put on hold. Since the beginning of August I have been adapting to life as an expat in Kabul, Afghanistan where my life is organized by security announcements, transport schedules, and my housemates.
